Sector Search is a unique data recovery tool which specialises in recovering fragments of a known file(s) on a source disk image.



Usage is simple, the file(s) you are looking for are added, Sector Search then performs a series of mathematical calculations on the selected file(s). The disk image you want to search is then added and the search process begins.

Once the search process is complete any fragments of the known file(s) are displayed. The results can then be used to either manually or automatically re-construct the data. A results graphic is then produced providing a graphical representation showing what has been recovered.

Traditional methods of finding a file in this manner rely on searching for file headers, keywords or some other unique attribute of a file, this can result in missing information or not being able to prove a file once existed on a computer. Sector Search is ideal in intellectual property cases.

The processes used to recover data are not hidden as with other data recovery tools on the market.
